Matinee: Street Carp
with Could Be Stars, Clean Coil
The Workers Club (Fitzroy, VIC)
Saturday, 20 December 2025 1:00 pm
Street Carp are making their Workers Club debut, throwing a noisy, loose end-of-year send-off that doubles as a birthday celebration for one of Street Carp’s own.
Bringing their alt-rock edge and sharp hooks from North East Victoria, Street Carp will be tearing through new, unreleased tracks and some unique covers of their favourite songs.
They’re joined by Clean Coil, bringing sun-bleached surf rock that feels like a summer night in full swing, and Naarm-based Could Be Stars, whose indie-alt sound blends atmosphere with raw energy.
It’s a lineup stacked with Melbourne’s next wave of rock, each bringing their own distinct shade.
Whether you’re here for the riffs, The Workers Club’s trademark atmosphere, or just to raise a glass for the party, this is the gig to close out 2025.
