Join local trio Moon Elevator for a Sunday afternoon of cosmic shoegaze, angular post-punk and cinematic dreampop.
Described as “at home on any David Lynch soundscape” by post-punk.com, Moon Elevator are launching their new single “Haunted Telephone”. The title track from their upcoming second EP, “Haunted Telephone” is a melancholy dive into a subterranean landscape of pulsing synths, echoing guitars and hypnotic drums.
Fresh off their “To The Dry” album launch tour, Great Australian Bank will also be gracing the stage of The Workers Club. The gritty, nostalgic sounds of their barstardised brand of post-punk and Australiana is not to be missed.
Opening the show with gothic melodrama are local duo Nausicaa. Come down early and immerse yourself in the ghostly guitars and ethereal melodies of their dark dreampop.
