DSM6 'Live and Let Go' (With Scowls and Lifetime Warranty)

'Live and Let Go' is the title of the first EP released by the Canberra-born, now Melbourne-based band, DSM6. This live show will mark the first full performance of the EP in Melbourne. The band is noted for their tightly-performed alternative/indie rock sound, moody chord progressions, and melancholy lyricism which tug at your heart strings. Songs off of 'Live and Let Go' draw heavily from the groove of genres such as funk and dance, which is infused with progressive alt-rock ideas, while also featuring a sound palette reminiscent of surf-rock. 



Lifetime Warranty plays midwest-y emo riffs. Jazz and folk are not off the table. They will let you take a solo if you ask nicely. Originally hailing from Boorloo/Perth, Lifetime Warranty promises satisfaction guaranteed. 



Scowls is a solo folk-rock project supported by a 6-piece live act whose energy matches the eclectic musicality of 'Black Country, New Road', mixed with the raw indie aesthetics of 'Alex G' in a vigorous rock live act. With a wide dynamic range, performances transform from indie rock sounds to the reserved softness of folk, building to crashing alt-rock climaxes.
