Myxi Bun has been attempting to survive on this volatile planet, and bitch, does she need a holiday!
She plans to breach NSW quarantine laws, escape temporarily from shitty Gadigal/Sydney, and scuttle into magical Naarm/Melbourne to infect more with the disease of “getting lit and down to electronic beats.” To complete her poorly planned mission, she has collected the baddest of bitches to play on the lineup! We may not be able to afford a real holiday, but bitch, on the dancefloor, we can pretend we are on another planet!
Joining Myxi Bun on vacation is Narrm’s very own LÂLKA delivering a set of genre-blurring sonic rebellion full of dark bass lines and soaring synths; as well as r.em.edy, a genre-blending chameleon – delivering everything from R&B and soul to pop, hip hop, and dance – who will transport you from the dancefloor to the stars and back again.
Completing the holiday itinerary, Chasing Shadows (Mulubinba/Newcastle) will craft immersive, dark and hypnotic soundscapes fusing psychedelic dissonance with industrial textures. For this set, he’ll be behind the decks guiding the dancefloor through a late-night descent into deep, warped sonic territory.
