The Workers Club (Fitzroy, VIC)
Friday, 28 February 2025 8:00 pm
Catch Sara Berki at her first ever headline show in Melbourne, when she brings the ‘Fool Me Twice Tour’ to The Workers Club in Fitzroy on Friday 28th February.
Sara will be performing two sets – a solo acoustic set plus a full band set. The solo set will give fans a chance to hear Sara’s talents as a singer-songwriter, while the set with her red hot band will show why she is becoming a festival favourite. Support will be from the Ohioan born, Sydney based multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter Charlie Finn.
Sara’s combination of timeless storytelling, with her modern country sensibilities and her down-to-earth presence, has helped establish her as one of the most exciting and prolific new artists in country music. She has built an impressive catalogue of songs since the release of her debut single, ‘Fallin’ off the Heartline’ in 2022. Songs like ‘Drinking for Free’, ‘A Boy That’s Into Trucks’, ‘Tear You Apart’ and ‘Good Enough’ have received impressive airplay and streaming support and have got audiences singing along at live shows.
2024 has been an incredible year for Sara, kicking off with being named winner of the 2024 APRA Professional Development Award for Country/Americana – recognizing Sara’s songwriting talents and finishing off with the announcement of signing a recording deal with Warner Music and releasing her latest hit single, ‘Twice’.
In between, Sara has performed at some of the biggest festivals, including CMC Rocks and Gympie Muster, got to open for U.S sensation, Dasha, as well as performing for the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba twice. Sara’s performance of the John Denver classic, ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads,’ at the AFL season kick-off, has received over 17 million views since it was posted in March, bringing in new fans from all around the world.
Sara is constantly writing new songs and fans can expect to hear some of these, plus all the hits and a few surprises when she hits the road for the ‘Fool Me Twice Tour’ in February 2025.
