After the successful release of debut single ‘Outsider’ in August, and a string of shows around Melbourne, The Fior return with their second single ‘We Don’t Know What We’re Here For’.

Set to be released in November, ‘We Don’t Know What We’re Here For’ draws musical influence from UK Rock titans The Libertines and Oasis, with reflective lyrics considering coming of age in the world today, penned by frontman Conor Bermingham. ‘We Don’t Know What We’re Here For’ paints a picture of the difficulty of finding your place in the world and the importance of support and communication through this journey.

With the aim to capture the energetic and raw feeling of the song, The Fior opted to record the track live at Big Sky Audio with Producer/Audio Engineer Neil Gray in early 2019.

The Fior will also be releasing ‘Enough Is Enough’ as a B-side to ‘We Don’t Know What We’re Here For’. ‘Enough Is Enough’ has been carried over from the band’s previous project ‘Social On The Veranda’ - recorded with Neil Gray back in 2018, but remaining on the shelf until now.

The Fior will be launching ‘We Don’t know What We’re Here For’ at The Workers Club in Fitzroy on Saturday, November 30th. Joining them will be friends Dumb Whales and Inklines (NSW) and The Refuge.
