After a decade in the shadows, Melbourne prog-metal outfit Fading Hour is back. The original lineup—Mick Camilleri (vocals), Pete Borzeta (guitar), Jono Bach (bass), and the long-absent Chris Ferre (drums)—has reunited for the first time since their crushing debut, Beyond the Void.
The catalyst? A chance encounter at a local gig last year—13 years after they last stood in the same room. One conversation and past memories led them straight to the studio to start recording new material, as if no time had passed.
To celebrate their return, Fading Hour has dropped a brand-new single, "Asphyxia"—a relentless, time-twisting assault that pushes their progressive-metal sound to even heavier extremes.
